Here's an update on my little terrain project. I've chucked about 2000 points of Tau and another 2000 of Space Marines and Witch Hunters to give some idea of the space for a 40k game. It's quite crowded, but then it is being built for skirmishing :)
In the last shot you can see the tunnels running underneath, adding an interesting new dimension to battlefield.
Soon I will model the surface, and then get some colour on it - it should photograph a little better then :)

À l'occasion de la balade-séance photo figurines mentionnée précédemment, j'avais aussi convié mon samouraï Stikfas.

Les Stikfas sont des figurines articulées de 8cm. Livrées sur grappe, elles s'assemblent en emboitant leurs articulations à boule.
Les Stikfas constituent, un peu comme les Legos et les Playmobils, mais encore plus stylisés, des variations sur un thème. Les quelques corps de base disponibles sont différenciés par des accessoires symboliques et une palette de couleur très limitée. Bien qu'ils soient fournis avec des autocollants pour les personnaliser, c'est justement leur style très abstrait et pourtant très efficace qui fait, pour moi, leur attrait.
J'ai eu la chance de trouver ce samourai sur le stand d'une boutique de jeu lors d'une convention (mes premières Nocturnes Foréziennes il y a 4 ans je crois). Je connaissais par Internet mais je n'en ai jamais vu en vente en magasin en France. L'avantage c'est que ça limite la collectionnite et les achats compulsifs, parce qu'il y a encore plein de choses que je trouve très cools dans la gamme de produits.
Un dernier truc: leur grande stabilité et leurs articulations les rendent particulièrement adaptés à l'animation image par image, comme en témoigne un grand nombre de videos sur la Toile, essayez sur YouTube, y a des trucs très chouettes.
